Job summary
The Director of Finance and Administration will establish and lead the hospital's financial, administrative and internal-control systems. The successful candidate will oversee budgeting, accounting, revenue management, payroll, procurement coordination, statutory compliance and administrative support for efficient and sustainable hospital operations.

Responsibilities:
- Establish and manage the hospital's finance, accounting and administrative systems from commencement of operations.
- Prepare annual budgets, cash-flow forecasts, management accounts and periodic financial-performance reports.
- Maintain accurate books of account, supporting schedules, reconciliations and financial records.
- Design and enforce internal controls for revenue, billing, cash collection, banking, payments, payroll, procurement and inventory.
- Coordinate patient billing, HMO and corporate-account invoicing, receivables follow-up and daily revenue reconciliation.
- Monitor expenditure, budget variances, working capital and departmental costs and recommend corrective action.
- Coordinate payroll administration, employee records, leave documentation and other assigned human- resource processes.
- Support vendor selection, purchasing, contract administration, stock controls and supplier-performance monitoring.
- Ensure timely compliance with applicable tax, pension, insurance, labour and financial-reporting requirements.
- Prepare for internal and external audits and ensure timely resolution of audit and control findings.
- Maintain appropriate segregation of duties, approval limits, document retention and fraud-prevention controls.
- Provide financial analysis and reliable decision-support information to the Chief Medical Director and Chief Operating Officer.
- Supervise assigned finance and administrative personnel and perform other responsibilities assigned by hospital management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration or a related discipline.
- Professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA or ANAN is an advantage.
- Minimum of five years' relevant finance or administration experience, including at least two years in asupervisory or managerial position.
- Experience in a hospital, healthcare organisation or another regulated service environment is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of budgeting, financial reporting, cash management, payroll, taxation, procurement and internal controls.
- Ability to establish finance and administrative systems for a newly commissioned hospital.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and good working knowledge of accounting, payroll and hospital information systems.
- Strong analytical, organisational, communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Integrity, confidentiality, professionalism and a high level of accountability.
- Willingness to reside in or relocate within reasonable commuting distance of Isuofia.
Remuneration: NGN 300,000 Monthly
