Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Direct Sales Representative role based in Port Harcourt. The Direct Sales Representative will be responsible for generating and qualifying leads, conducting face-to-face sales visits, and presenting Henriken Consulting HR’s services to prospective and existing clients. Daily activities include building and maintaining a sales pipeline, preparing proposals, negotiating terms, and closing deals in line with set targets. The role involves providing excellent customer service, gathering client feedback, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery and client satisfaction. The Direct Sales Representative will also participate in sales meetings, contribute to sales strategies, and support promotional campaigns and training sessions as needed.
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain professional relationships with diverse clients and stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including confident presentation and negotiation abilities.
- Proven customer service skills with a client-focused mindset and a commitment to delivering high-quality support.
- Sales skills, including lead generation, prospecting, pipeline management, and closing, preferably in services or consulting sectors.
- Experience delivering or supporting training, workshops, or product/service demonstrations is an advantage.
- Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Good organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple prospects and deadlines.
- Proficiency in basic office and digital tools (e.g., email, spreadsheets, presentation software; CRM experience is a plus).
- Minimum of a diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Human Resources, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Previous field sales or direct sales experience in HR, consulting, training, or related services is preferred but not mandatory.
