Role Description The Direct Sales Representative is a full-time, on-site role based in Ibadan. This role involves actively identifying and approaching prospective customers, presenting products and services, and closing sales to meet or exceed targets. The Direct Sales Representative will conduct in-person meetings, product demonstrations, and follow-ups, while maintaining detailed records of all interactions and sales activities. The role also includes providing frontline customer service, handling inquiries and concerns, and ensuring a positive experience before and after each sale. In addition, the Direct Sales Representative will support training or onboarding sessions for new customers, collaborate with internal teams to share feedback from the field, and participate in regular sales meetings and performance reviews.
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport, foster trust, and maintain long-term customer relationships.
- Effective communication skills, including clear verbal presentation and active listening abilities.
- Customer service skills to handle inquiries, resolve issues, and provide a positive client experience.
- Sales skills, including prospecting, negotiation, and closing, with a focus on achieving targets.
- Ability to deliver basic product training or guidance to new customers as needed.
- Proven experience in direct sales, retail, or field sales is an advantage.
- Goal-oriented mindset with strong self-motivation and accountability.
- Ability to work on-site in Ibadan and travel locally for client visits as required.
- Basic proficiency in digital tools (e.g., email, spreadsheets, CRM systems) is beneficial.
- Minimum of a secondary school certificate; additional education in business, marketing, or related fields is a plus.
