Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement social media strategies tailored to the brand goals and target audience.
- Create, schedule, and publish engaging content across multiple social media platforms.
- Monitor social media trends, audience behavior, and platform updates to optimize content performance.
- Oversee content creation, ensuring alignment with the brand voice and objectives.
- In-depth Knowledge in Digital marketing (running of ads)
- Collaborate with the content creator to produce high-quality posts.
- Write and edit newsletters, ensuring they are error-free and engaging.
- Design basic graphics for social media and promotional materials.
- Manage community engagement by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Track and analyze social media metrics to assess performance and recommend improvements.
- Conduct competitor research and industry analysis to enhance content strategy.
- Ensure consistency in branding, tone, and messaging across all digital channels.
- Coordinate with the team to understand content needs, campaign objectives, and feedback.
- Stay updated on emerging social media trends, tools, and best practices.
- Develop and manage paid social media campaigns as needed, optimizing for engagement and conversion.
- Perform any other tasks or responsibilities related to social media management as required.
Requirements:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Digital Marketer & social media manager (4 years +).
- Familiarity with various social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
- Strong organizational skills to manage content calendars, schedules, and collaboration with various teams.
- Detail-oriented approach to ensure accuracy and quality in content creation, posting, and engagement.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and respond to user interactions in a professional manner.
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms and trends to contribute fresh ideas and stay up-to-date.
- Familiarity with content creation tools, including image and video editing software, for basic design tasks.
- Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new technologies and social media management tools.
- Basic understanding of SEO principles and online marketing concepts to support strategy implementation.
- Proactive and self-motivated approach to tasks, both independently and in collaboration with the social media team.
Renumeration: NGN 350,000-400,000
Location: Victoria Island, Lagos.
