- Execute our "Speed-First" protocol—getting a headline and summary live within 5 minutes of a major event.
- Craft catchy, searchable headlines that dominate Google Search and Discover.
- Quickly fact-check "viral gist" to ensure the blog maintains high credibility and avoids fake news.
- Attach relevant photos, videos, or social media embeds to enhance story engagement. Required Skills & Qualifications
- An obsessive interest in Nigerian politics, security, and global affairs.
- Ability to write clean, error-free copy under intense pressure.
- Familiarity with WordPress (Gutenberg editor), SEO tools (Yoast/RankMath), and TweetDeck/X Pro.
- Willingness to work dedicated night shifts or weekend rotations (remote options available).
Requirements:
- 1–3 years in a fast-paced newsroom or digital blog environment.
- Mastery of the "inverted pyramid" style (putting the most important news first).
- Knowledge of keyword placement, meta-descriptions, and writing headlines that rank on Google News.
