Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute digital marketing and social media strategies tailored to each portfolio company during its acceleration phase.
- Launch and manage social media accounts quickly for new portfolio companies.
- Create, schedule, and manage content across multiple platforms, including LinkedIn, X, Meta, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Build and grow social media followings and audience engagement.
- Design and run advertising campaigns on Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Google Ads, and other relevant platforms.
- Produce engaging multimedia content, including graphics, videos, and written posts.
- Use tools like Canva, Hootsuite, Buffer, TikTok, or similar to manage content scheduling and campaign tracking.
- Monitor metrics, provide regular reports, and optimize campaigns based on performance.
- Collaborate with founders and internal teams to maintain consistent brand messaging.
- Stay up-to-date with digital marketing trends, social media changes, and growth strategies.
Requirements:
- Minimum of a B.Sc. qualification.
- Minimum of 3 years demonstrable experience.
- Proven experience in social media management, digital marketing, or brand growth.
- Expert-level skills in Canva, Hootsuite (or equivalent), and social media scheduling tools.
- Strong knowledge of LinkedIn, X, Meta, and Google Ads.
- Ability to create and manage digital advertising campaigns.
- Exceptional writing and communication skills.
- Experience creating multimedia content, including videos.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to track, measure, and optimize campaigns.
- Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience managing marketing for start-ups or multiple brands.
- Familiarity with SEO, growth marketing, and community-building strategies.
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment
