Job Description

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and creative Design Architect to join their growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and supervising the execution of architectural projects from inception to completion. This role demands creativity, technical proficiency, and strong organizational skills to translate ideas into functional, compliant and aesthetically refined built environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with client to interpret design requirements, project objectives and budget limitations.

• Develop conceptual designs, sketches, 3D models and presentation visuals to communicate design intent.

• Prepare detailed working drawings, construction documentation and specifications for approval and implementation.

• Coordinate with engineers, quantity surveyors, interior designers and contractors to ensure design integrity throughout project delivery.

• Conduct site visits and inspections to assess progress, verify compliance with design intent and provide technical guidance.

• Ensure all designs comply with relevant building codes, zoning regulations and health & safety standards.

• Oversee material selection, finishes and detailing to meet project quality and aesthetic expectations.

• Prepare tender drawings, cost estimates and project schedules.

• Lead and participate in design and technical meetings to resolve project-related challenges.

• Monitor project timelines, budgets and deliverables to ensure targets are met.

• Stay current with modern design trends, sustainable materials, and evolving building technologies.

• Be available for site coordination or remote work sessions as required to meet project deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (B.Arch.) or equivalent; a Master’s degree or professional registration with ARCON/NIA is an added advantage.

• Minimum of 5 years professional experience in architectural design, preferably within a reputable firm or construction company.

• Proven experience managing full design cycles from concept to construction documentation.

• Proficiency in design and visualization software, including AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Lumion, V-Ray and Adobe Creative Suite.

• Strong understanding of building materials, structural coordination, detailing and construction processes.

• Excellent communication, presentation and client-facing skills.

• Demonstrated leadership and project coordination experience.

• Exceptional attention to detail, creativity and time management.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Working Hours

8:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Monday to Saturday.

(Architect must also be available for after-hours coordination or site visits as required by project schedules.)
