DEPUTY MANAGING DIRECTOR (seismic exploration organisation)

**Location:** Lagos / Port Harcourt

**Employment Type:** Permanent | On-site

**Salary:** ₦24 Million Annual

Industry: Oil & Gas

We are seeking a **highly experienced, strategic, and charismatic Deputy Managing Director (DMD)** to provide executive and operational leadership for a leading seismic exploration organisation.

**Key Responsibilities:**

Provide strategic and executive leadership across the organisation

Oversee large-scale seismic exploration and acquisition projects

Drive business development, revenue growth, and new contract opportunities

Manage key client, regulatory, government, and industry relationships

Ensure operational excellence, HSEQ compliance, and project profitability

Provide leadership and mentorship to senior management teams

**Requirements:**

Bachelor's degree in Geology, Geophysics, Petroleum Engineering, Surveying, Engineering, Earth Sciences, or a related field

**Minimum of 15 years' relevant experience** in seismic exploration, geophysical services, or upstream oil & gas

Strong cognate experience in both technical and managerial roles within the seismic exploration industry

Proven senior management/executive leadership experience

Strong understanding of seismic acquisition methods and exploration technologies

Excellent strategic, commercial, leadership, and stakeholder management skills

Master's degree (MBA, MSc, or equivalent) is an advantage
