Job summary
The Deposit Mobilisation Officer is responsible for driving the growth of the institution’s deposit base by identifying, engaging, and acquiring new customers, while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.

Responsibilities:
- Drive deposit mobilization initiatives to achieve liability generation targets.
- Source, grow, and manage Fixed Deposit portfolios from individuals and corporate clients.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure repeat business and referrals.
- Identify new business opportunities and design strategies to attract deposits.
- Prepare and present periodic reports on deposit mobilization activities and performance.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless customer service delivery.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal policies in all deposit mobilization activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, or related field.
- Proven track record of 3 – 5 years in deposit mobilization, liability generation, and fixed deposit acquisition
- within the financial services sector.
- Strong network of high-net-worth individuals, SMEs, and corporate clients.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet set targets under pressure.
- Sound knowledge of microfinance banking operations and regulatory requirements
