Job summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Debt Management Administrator to support our growing operations.

Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Manage incoming correspondence from UK Debt Management Companies (DMCs) regarding customer accounts.
  • Review and process Debt Management Plan (DMP) payment offers in line with customer affordability assessments.
  • Liaise with DMCs via email and telephone to update them on account status and payment arrangements.
  • Coordinate and track communications relating to customers entering debt management plans.
  • Maintain accurate records of account activity, payment offers, and agreements.
  • Ensure all correspondence is handled within required timelines and service standards.
  • Support internal teams by providing updates on DMP accounts and repayment plans.
  • Use Excel and internal systems to track cases, monitor payments, and maintain reporting accuracy.


Requirements:

  • Up to 4 years’ experience in a debt management, collections, or financial services administrative role.
  • Strong understanding of collections processes and customer account management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage high volumes of emails and correspondence efficiently.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work to deadlines.
  • Comfortable engaging with external partners via telephone and email.
  • Strong Excel skills for tracking and reporting purposes.

  • Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously
  • Problem-solving mindset
  • Experience working with UK Debt Management Companies or Debt Management Plans (DMPs) is an advantage.
