Role Description
We are seeking a Data Science Tutor for a full-time hybrid role based in Ibadan, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. The tutor will be responsible for preparing and delivering high-quality lessons in data science, conducting training sessions, providing mentorship to learners, and creating relevant course materials. Additional responsibilities include staying up-to-date with industry trends and adjusting course content to ensure the most current practices and tools are taught.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Data Analysis, Machine Learning, and Statistical Modeling
- Experience with Python, R, SQL, and other programming languages for data processing
- Strong skills in Data Visualization and Reporting using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Matplotlib
- Experience in Developing Curriculum, Delivering Lectures, and Assessing Learner Progress
- Excellent Communication and Presentation Skills with the Ability to Simplify Complex Concepts
- Strong Problem-Solving Skills and a Passion for Teaching and Mentorship
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field
- Experience working in the tech or innovation sector is a plus
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment
