Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

Design Leadership & Technical Excellence:

  • Lead the conceptualization, design development, and presentation of bespoke interior solutions
  • Ensure all designs comply with company standards, manufacturing capabilities, and installation requirements
  • Conduct design reviews and provide technical guidance to junior designers.


Problem Solving & Innovation:

  • Identify project challenges early and proactively develop practical, cost-effective solutions
  • Balance aesthetics, functionality, budget, and technical feasibility in every design decision
  • Anticipate potential site, production, or installation issues and recommend appropriate design modifications before execution
  • Continuously improve design workflows and contribute ideas that enhance project delivery
  • Act as a bridge between clients and designers to ensure a smooth design process that aligns with client needs.


Process Compliance & Continuous Improvement:

  • Demonstrate the flexibility to adapt to the company's design procedures, documentation standards, approval workflows, and project management systems
  • Ensure all project documentation is accurate, organized, and submitted within agreed timelines
  • Maintain consistency in design quality while adhering to company policies and best practices
  • Support the continuous improvement of internal processes through constructive feedback and collaboration.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
  • Proficiency in SketchUp, AutoCAD, and rendering software (Enscape, V-Ray, Lumion, Blender, or similar)
  • Experience in bespoke joinery, kitchens, wardrobes, and luxury interiors
  • Strong knowledge of joinery detailing, materials, and installation
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to established company processes, systems, and standards while maintaining a positive, solution-oriented attitude
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and client management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and solve problems effectively
  • Professional, accountable, and committed to delivering high-quality results.
