Job summary
Parcel 24 Africa, a sister company of Astro Light Investment Nig. Ltd., is a fast-growing Nigerian shipping and logistics company with over 6 years of experience in international doorstep deliveries. We help individuals, students, families, online vendors, and businesses send parcels from Nigeria to the UK, US, Canada, Europe, Dubai, China, and more fast, affordable, and reliable. As a Customer Care & Lead Generation Officer, you will be the first point of contact between Parcel 24 Africa and our customers. Your role is not just to respond to messages, but to build trust, convert inquiries into paying customers, and ensure excellent customer experience. You will be responsible for handling customer inquiries via WhatsApp, calls, Instagram, Facebook, and walk-in follow-ups, while also actively generating and converting leads.

Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries on WhatsApp, phone calls, Instagram, and Facebook
- Educate customers clearly about our shipping services, pricing, timelines, and processes
- Convert inquiries into confirmed shipments and walk-in visits
- Follow up on leads until they are successfully converted
- Handle customer complaints calmly and professionally
- Provide accurate shipping information and updates to customers
- Maintain proper records of customer interactions and leads
- Work closely with the operations team to ensure customer satisfaction
- Represent Parcel 24 Africa politely, confidently, and professionally at all times.
Requirements:
- Has excellent communication skills (spoken and written English; Nigerian clarity is important)
- Is calm, patient, and respectful, even with difficult customers
- Understands that trust is everything in logistics
- Is sales-minded and understands how to persuade without being aggressive
- Is honest, reliable, and detail-oriented
- Can multitask and handle multiple customer conversations at once
- Is familiar with WhatsApp Business, Instagram, and Facebook messaging
- Has basic computer skills (Google Docs, Excel, CRM tools is an advantage)
- Has previous experience in customer service, sales, or logistics (added advantage but not compulsory)
