Job Summary

We are seeking a diligent and results-oriented Credit Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing loan applications, managing credit risk, and ensuring timely loan disbursement and recovery.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

Assess and evaluate loan applications in line with the bank’s credit policies.
Conduct thorough credit risk analysis and maintain accurate credit records.
Follow up on repayments and manage delinquent accounts.
Provide excellent customer service to clients seeking credit facilities.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth loan processing.
Ensure monthly loan disbursement of at least ₦20 million.

Requirements:

Minimum of a bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Banking, or related field.
Minimum 2 years’ experience in microfinance or banking.
Must have a healthy existing client base (cabal) to support loan disbursements.
Strong analytical and risk assessment skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
Must reside close to Ikorodu or be able to commute easily.
