Job Description/Requirements
- Identify, sensitise, and recruit potential clients within the target market.
- Conduct field visits to evaluate clients’ businesses and assess creditworthiness.
- Prepare and submit accurate loan applications and appraisal reports.
- Ensure proper documentation of loan files and client information.
- Verify that approved loans meet all policy requirements before disbursement.
- Monitor clients’ business performance after disbursement.
- Conduct regular follow-ups and loan utilisation checks.
- Ensure timely loan repayment and maintain a healthy loan portfolio.
- Follow up on delinquent accounts and implement recovery strategies.
- Maintain up-to-date records of loan performance.
- Prepare periodic reports on loan disbursement, portfolio quality, and arrears.
- Ensure compliance with lending policies and credit risk management standards.
- Maintain confidentiality and integrity in handling client information.
Customer Service
- Provide excellent customer service and build strong client relationships.
- Educate clients on financial literacy and proper loan utilisation.
Requirements:
- Minimum of OND/HND/B.Sc. in business administration, banking & finance, accounting, economics, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in microfinance, lending, or banking operations.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Knowledge of credit risk analysis and loan management.
- Proficiency in MS Office and financial software (e.g., Instafin, Excel).
- Must be honest, target-driven, and able to work with minimal supervision.
