Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Edit and produce high-quality video content for social media, websites, advertisements, and other digital platforms.
- Review raw footage and select suitable clips to create engaging videos.
- Add transitions, visual effects, animations, graphics, and sound effects to video projects.
- Collaborate with content creators, marketing teams, and creative directors to develop compelling video content.
- Ensure all edited videos align with the company's brand identity and creative standards.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Video Editor, Content Creator, or in a similar creative role.
- Must currently reside in Abuja, Nigeria.
- Must have a reliable internet connection and a backup power supply
- Strong portfolio demonstrating creativity, storytelling, and professional editing skills.
- Experience editing both short-form and long-form video content.
- Experience editing video podcasts and promotional content.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or similar editing software.
- Good understanding of social media platforms and video engagement strategies.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and willingness to accept feedback.
Added Advantage:
- Experience with Adobe After Effects or other motion graphics tools.
- Familiarity with AI-powered video editing tools such as HeyGen.
- Experience with Canva, Photoshop, Descript, or Riverside.
- Experience producing marketing videos for businesses, personal brands, agencies, or healthcare professionals.
- Ability to suggest creative concepts and improve video performance.
