Job Summary
The Country Manager is responsible for overseeing the logistics operations within the country. This role involves managing e-commerce and supply chain activities, optimizing international trade and logistics processes, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and driving business growth. The Country Manager will lead a team across several business units, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, and develop strategies to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction. This position reports to the CEO.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement logistics strategies aligned with the company’s overall business objectives.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions.
Operations Management:
- Oversee daily logistics operations, including international trade, importation, exportation, e-commerce, transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
- Ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods and services.
Team Leadership:
- Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing team.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment.
Budget Management:
- Develop and manage the budget, ensuring cost-effective operations.
- Monitor financial performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.
- Address customer concerns and ensure high levels of satisfaction.
Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations.
- Implement and maintain safety standards and protocols.
Performance Monitoring:
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Generate regular reports for senior management.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with other departments, such as sales, marketing, and finance, to support business goals.
- Liaise with external partners, including suppliers and transportation providers.
Innovation and Technology:
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Implement innovative solutions to enhance logistics operations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in e-commerce, logistics, supply chain management, or related fields, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
- Experience managing a team of 15 or more
- Strong knowledge of international trade, logistics processes, transportation management, and warehousing.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency in logistics software and systems.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills are an advantage.
