Job Title: Cost Accountant
Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time, Onsite

Job Summary

• The Cost Accountant will support the finance function by providing accurate cost analysis, budgeting, reporting, and inventory valuation.
• This role ensures the integrityof cost-related financial data and supports operational and strategic decision‑making.
  

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and update standard costing models and cost allocation processes.
• Perform cost variance analysis and recommend corrective actions.
• Conduct inventory costing and reconciliation, including WIP.
• Prepare landed cost calculations for imported materials.
• Analyze production costs, waste, and efficiency metrics.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual cost reports.
• Support financial statement preparation in line with IFRS.
• Support close processes related to cost accruals and adjustments.
• Contribute to budgeting and forecasting cycles.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and support audits.
• Perform Ad-hoc tasks as delegated.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields
• ICAN/ACCA is an added advantage.
• 3 – 5 years experience with minimum 2 years in cost accounting.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS
• Proficiency in ERP systems
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Manufacturing Industry experience is an added advantage.
