Corporate Event Manager
Job summary
The Corporate Event Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing corporate events that enhance brand visibility, strengthen client relationships, and support business objectives. The role oversees all aspects of events from concept development to post-event evaluation, ensuring high-quality delivery within budget and timeline
Job descriptions & requirements
- Plan and manage corporate events such as conferences, product launches, seminars, exhibitions, networking events, staff events, and executive meetings.
- Develop event concepts, themes, budgets, timelines, and execution plans aligned with company goals.
- Source, negotiate, and manage relationships with vendors, venues, caterers, decorators, production teams, and other service providers.
- Coordinate logistics, including venue setup, registration, guest management, transportation, accommodation, and event materials.
- Work closely with internal departments such as marketing, sales, HR, and leadership to understand event objectives and requirements.
- Oversee branding and communication for events, ensuring consistency with the company image and messaging.
- Manage event budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective delivery.
- Lead on-site event execution and troubleshoot issues to ensure smooth operations.
- Measure event success through feedback, attendance reports, ROI analysis, and post-event reviews.
- Maintain an annual events calendar and recommend innovative ideas to improve event experiences.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company policies during events.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate event planning or a similar role.
- Strong project management and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple events simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Strong budgeting and vendor management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management tools.
- Creative thinking with strong attention to detail.
Location: Lagos ( Anthony Village)
Remuneration: NGN 500,000- 750,000 Monthly
