Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with established recipes and standards.
- Ensure the freshness, quality, and consistency of all food products.
- Adhere to proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures at all times.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and refine menu offerings.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, including equipment maintenance and sanitation.
- Assist with special events and catering functions as required.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a cook in a restaurant or similar setting.
- Culinary degree or certification from a recognized culinary institute preferred.
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, cooking methods, and food safety standards.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
