Control Panel Builder / Tester
Job summary
In this role, you will be responsible for the assembly, wiring, and testing of electrical control panels and control cabinets using digital work instructions and electrical schematics (EPLAN or equivalent). This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in clean wiring, accurate work, and structured assembly, and who can work both independently. This role is part of the Assembly Department and focuses on building and testing control panels using modern production techniques such as digital work instructions, smart wiring, and CNC-supported processes. This is a long-term relocation opportunity, including legal employment in the Netherlands and a pathway to permanent residence.

Responsibilities:
- Assemble and inspect electrical components based on digital work instructions
- Wire control cabinets and panels according to EPLAN electrical schematics
- Perform functional testing of finished control panels
- Work with modern assembly techniques, including smart wiring and CNC-supported production
- Maintain a clean and organized workplace according to 5S standards
- Contribute ideas for process improvement and work closely with the assembly team
Requirements:
Education:
- OND/HND/Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Industrial Automation
- Other relevant technical or vocational education with strong practical experience will also be considered
Experience & Technical Skills (Required):
- At least 2–3 years of hands-on experience in industrial control panel building and/or testing, gained in a workshop or factory environment
- Proven ability to assemble control cabinets based on digital work instructions
- Strong practical experience with panel wiring, including wiring of contactors, relays, breakers (MCB/MCCB), terminal blocks, power supplies; neat cable routing; labeling; and ferruling
- Ability to read and follow electrical schematics accurately
- Experience with EPLAN schematics is a strong advantage
- Candidates without EPLAN may be considered if they can clearly read and work from electrical diagrams
- Experience performing basic functional and electrical testing of finished control panels
- Comfortable working with digital documentation and instructions, including basic use of computers and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) for simple documentation and checks
- Experience working according to structured processes and quality standards, including clean and organized work habits and maintaining order in tools and materials (5S or similar principles)
- You are a hands-on, detail-oriented technician who enjoys working in a structured manufacturing environment and is motivated by innovation and continuous improvement.
- You work well both independently and in a team, follow instructions carefully, and take responsibility for the quality of your work.
