Job summary
We are seeking an experienced Continental Chef to prepare and present high-quality continental cuisine while maintaining exceptional standards of food quality, hygiene, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare, cook, and present a variety of continental dishes in accordance with established recipes and quality standards
- Develop and recommend new menu items, specials, and seasonal offerings
- Ensure consistency in food taste, quality, portion control, and presentation
- Supervise food preparation and kitchen activities to ensure efficient operations
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, sanitation, and food safety in compliance with regulatory requirements
- Monitor food inventory levels and coordinate the ordering of ingredients and supplies
- Ensure proper storage and handling of food products
- Maintain kitchen equipment and report repair or maintenance needs promptly
Requirements:
- Minimum of SSCE qualification; Culinary certification or professional culinary training is highly preferred
- Proven experience as a Continental Chef in a hotel, restaurant, resort, lounge, or catering establishment
- Strong knowledge of continental cuisine, cooking techniques, and food presentation
- Excellent understanding of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen management practices
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Creativity and attention to detail in menu development and food presentation
- Good leadership and teamwork abilities
