Content & Social Media Executive

Responsibilities:

• Create, shoot and edit engaging short-form videos for Instagram, TikTok and Facebook.
• Develop and execute a consistent social media content calendar.
• Manage daily posts, stories and other social media content.
• Create product, behind-the-scenes, customer, lifestyle and educational content.
• Identify relevant social media trends and adapt them appropriately for the brand.
• Work with the founder and team to capture authentic brand and product content.
• Monitor social media performance and provide regular reports and insights.
• Engage with the online community and identify opportunities to increase reach and customer enquiries.
• Repurpose high-performing content across relevant platforms.
• Maintain Goodnews Chicken's brand voice and visual standards.
• Respond to basic customer enquiries on Instagram, TikTok and Facebook and direct qualified buyers to the WhatsApp sales channel.

Requirements:

• 1–3 years of experience in content creation, social media management, digital marketing or a related role.
• Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok and Facebook.
• Ability to shoot and edit quality short-form videos using a smartphone and/or camera.
• Strong understanding of social media content, hooks, trends and audience engagement.
• Creative, proactive and able to generate content ideas independently.
• Good written communication and caption-writing skills.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and maintain a consistent posting schedule.
• Experience working with a consumer, food, lifestyle or FMCG brand is an advantage.
• A portfolio or samples of previous work is mandatory.
