Content Moderator
Job summary
We are seeking a highly detailed-oriented and responsible Content Moderator to support the safety, quality, and integrity of digital platforms. In this role, you will review, evaluate, and moderate user-generated content to ensure it complies with company guidelines, community standards, and applicable regulations.

Responsibilities:
- Review and moderate user-generated content such as; Texts, images, videos, and comments across digital platforms.
- Enforce community guidelines and content policies consistently and fairly.
- Identify, flag, and escalate inappropriate, harmful, or policy-violating content.
- Make accurate moderation decisions within defined turnaround times.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive content with professionalism.
- Document moderate actions and provide feedback to improve moderation processes.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure platform safety and quality standards are met.
- Stay updated on policy changes and emerging online content trends.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business Administration or a relating field.
- 3 years of proven experience in content moderation, community management, or a similar role.
- Strong written communication skills with excellent grammar and clarity.
- Ability to remain objective, calm, and fair in high-pressure situations.
- Basic computer skills and confidence using multiple platforms at once.
- Experience moderating high-traffic or live chat environments.
- Knowledge of social media platforms, forums, or online communities.
- Understanding of online safety, harassment prevention, and digital etiquette.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings or weekends if required.
- Attention to detail.
Renumeration: NGN 500,000 (Non-negotiable)
