Content Developer

Responsibilities:

• Develop high-quality written and multimedia content, including website copy, blog articles, press releases, social media posts, newsletters, brochures, video scripts, and advertising materials.
• Create localized content reflecting Enugu’s culture, economy, and community interests to build authentic connections.
• Collaborate with marketing, sales, and project teams to align content with business objectives and campaign launches.
• Research industry trends, competitor activities, and audience preferences.
• Optimize all content for SEO, engagement, and conversion using analytics tools.
• Manage and maintain the content calendar across Havana Group’s brands and platforms.
• Edit and repurpose content for cross-channel use (web, email, print, social media).
• Support internal communications, event promotions, and CSR storytelling

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional content development or copywriting experience.
• Proven ability to write clear, persuasive, and grammatically correct copy in English (proficiency in Igbo or local dialects is an advantage).
• Strong knowledge of SEO best practices and tools (Google Analytics, Yoast, SEMrush, etc.).
• Experience with content management systems (WordPress, Drupal) and basic design tools (Canva, Adobe Suite).
• Excellent research, storytelling, and interviewing skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects
• Must currently reside in Enugu State or be willing to relocate.
• Full-time availability with flexibility for occasional travel within the state.
• Submission of a portfolio with 3–5 published or sample works (links or PDFs).
