Who we are

We’re building Aktivate, the Operating System for African creators, where discovery, earnings growth, and partnerships drive the product. We give creators access to brand deals, tools to manage collaborations, and simple ways to track earnings and work. Our goal is to make it easier for creators to turn their influence into consistent income and long-term opportunities.

For us, organic content is how we attract creators, explain concepts, and grow the platform. This role is for someone who can both think and create.

Why this role matters

You’ll be helping shape how creators discover opportunities and make money and you’ll be building the voice of Aktivate from the ground up.

What you’ll do

• Create short-form content for TikTok and Instagram (some of it front-facing)
• Turn live campaigns on Aktivate into content that creators want to apply to
• Manage our social pages and posting calendar
• Spot trends and adapt them to our brand
• Engage with the audience in comments and DMs
• Support content across other channels (Twitter, LinkedIn, newsletter)

Who this is for

• You have a portfolio that shows your past or current work
• You’re comfortable on camera
• You understand what performs well on TikTok/IG
• You have good taste and know what feels current
• You can execute quickly without overthinking
