Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Identify and track relevant tenders and RFPs in the marine survey and offshore industries.
- Prepare and submit compliant technical and commercial bids within deadlines.
- Coordinate with technical teams to develop accurate and competitive proposals.
- Interpret tender specifications and provide input on survey methodologies and costing.
- Maintain pre-qualification documents, vendor registrations, and company profiles.
- Monitor industry trends, client activities, and competitor strategies.
- Support contract drafting, negotiation, and review with clients, vendors, and partners.
- Ensure company operations comply with applicable maritime, corporate, and regulatory laws.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies (e.g., NIMASA, NIPEX, NCDMB, IMO) for permits, certifications, and filings.
- Conduct compliance audits, manage risk assessments, and advise management on mitigation measures.
- Handle disputes, claims, and coordinate with external legal counsel when required.
- Promote corporate governance, ethics, and compliance culture across the organization.
- Provide periodic compliance reports to management and support staff training on relevant policies.
Requirements:
- Minimum qualification of an HND
- 3 years of previous experience in a similar role
