Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
Driving & Transport Duties
- Safely transport staff, visitors, and company personnel to and from designated locations.
- Deliver documents, parcels, and materials to clients, vendors, and partners as assigned.
- Ensure punctual arrival for all scheduled pickups and drop-offs.
- Maintain a professional, courteous, and customer-focused approach when interacting with passengers.
Vehicle Maintenance & Management
- Conduct daily checks on vehicle condition (oil, water, tires, brakes, battery, lights).
- Ensure the vehicle is always clean, well-maintained, and in good working condition.
- Report any faults, damage, or mechanical issues to the admin/transport unit immediately.
- Keep accurate records of fuel consumption, mileage, and servicing schedules.
Compliance & Safety
- Strictly adhere to traffic laws, road signs, and safety regulations at all times.
- Ensure the use of seat belts and safe driving practices.
- Follow approved company routes and avoid unauthorized trips or deviations.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding company activities and staff movements.
Administrative & Support Tasks
- Assist with loading and unloading items when necessary.
- Support official errands or administrative tasks assigned by the admin or management team.
- Keep a logbook of daily movement and trips as required by company policy.
- Adhere to weekly/monthly maintenance schedules and vehicle inspections.
Security & Asset Protection
- Ensure the safety and security of the vehicle, passengers, and any company assets being transported.
- Verify the identity of individuals before granting access to the vehicle.
- Avoid risky routes or unsafe parking areas.
- Maintain discretion when transporting sensitive documents or high-value items.
Vehicle Etiquette & Professional Conduct
- Ensure the vehicle interior is always neat, odor-free, and comfortable for passengers.
- Open doors for senior staff and visitors where appropriate.
- Observe proper etiquette when interacting with clients, partners, and executives.
Record Keeping & Documentation
- Maintain accurate logs of daily trips, passenger counts, and deliveries.
- Record fuel purchases, maintenance activities, and toll expenses.
- Submit weekly reports on vehicle performance and mileage to the admin unit.
Requirements:
- Must be reliable
- Must be disciplined
- Must be knowledgeable about road safety regulations and routes within the city.
