Community Sales Officer
Job summary
The Community Sales Officer is responsible for driving sales growth within assigned neighborhoods and local communities. This role focuses on building strong relationships with residents, local businesses, and community organizations, while identifying opportunities to promote and sell the company’s products and services.

Responsibilities:
Prospecting & Lead Generation
- Identify potential customers through community outreach, networking events, social gatherings, referrals, and door-to-door engagement
- Actively follow up on leads to drive conversions
Building Local Relationships
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with local businesses, households, and community groups
- Leverage trust within communities to support continuous sales growth
Sales Presentations & Demonstrations
- Present products and services confidently
- Explain features clearly, highlight benefits, and guide prospects toward informed purchase decisions
Closing Sales & Meeting Targets
- Convert prospects into paying customers
- Negotiate terms where applicable and consistently achieve assigned revenue and conversion targets
Customer Relationship Management
- Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing concerns promptly
- Maintain ongoing communication and encourage repeat business and referrals
Market & Competitor Analysis
- Monitor local market trends and customer preferences
- Gather competitor insights and submit feedback and reports to management
Community Engagement
- Participate in community events, brand activations, and grassroots outreach initiatives
- Increase brand visibility and generate new sales opportunities
Collaboration with Marketing
- Work closely with the marketing team to execute localized campaigns and promotional activities
- Support community outreach programs and awareness drives
Tailored Sales Approach
- Understand the unique needs of each community
- Customize sales strategies to improve conversion rates and build strong brand loyalty
Requirements:
- Minimum qualification: OND / HND / B.Sc. (Fresh graduates welcome)
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
- Interest in sales and customer engagement
- Passion for renewable energy and sustainable solutions is an added advantage
- Ability to work independently and meet targets
Salary & Benefits
- Renumeration: NGN 150,000 – NGN 300,000 (GROSS)
