Responsibilities:
Clinical Services
- Administer vaccines, injections, and other prescribed treatments.
- Conduct health screenings such as blood pressure, blood glucose, cholesterol, BMI, and malaria testing (where applicable).
- Provide wound care, dressing changes, and minor injury management.
Medication & Patient Support
- Educate patients on medication usage, dosage, side effects, and adherence.
- Monitor patient progress and refer complex cases to appropriate healthcare facilities.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
Health Promotion
- Provide lifestyle counseling on nutrition, exercise, smoking cessation, and preventive care.
- Participate in community health outreach programs.
Collaboration & Compliance
- Work closely with pharmacists to ensure safe medication practices.
- Ensure compliance with nursing standards, pharmacy regulations, and health authority guidelines.
- Maintain infection control and safety standards within the pharmacy.
- Stay updated with current clinical guidelines and continuing professional development.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience
- Minimum of a BSc.
