Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
Content Creation:
- Develop compelling content for social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn) that aligns with the organization's values and objectives.
- Create visually appealing graphics, videos, and written content to share stories, resources, and updates.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure consistency in messaging and branding.
Newsletter Management:
- Curate and distribute regular newsletters to subscribers, featuring inspirational stories, event updates, and relevant resources.
- Monitor newsletter analytics to evaluate engagement and make data-driven decisions for improvement.
Email Communication:
- Respond promptly to email inquiries from community members, partners, and stakeholders.
- Maintain an organized inbox and follow up on action items as needed.
- Draft and send official communications on behalf of the organization, including announcements and event invitations.
Event Planning and Coordination:
- Assist in planning and organizing events, workshops, and webinars for the community.
- Coordinate logistics, including venue booking, catering, and technical requirements.
- Promote events through various channels and encourage participation from the community.
Community Engagement:
- Act as a primary point of contact for community members, providing support, guidance, and resources as needed.
- Monitor and moderate online forums and groups to ensure a positive and inclusive environment.
- Foster meaningful connections between community members and facilitate discussions on relevant topics.
Feedback and Reporting:
- Gather feedback from community members, partners, and stakeholders to identify areas for improvement.
- Provide regular updates to the leadership team on communication strategies, metrics, and outcomes.
- Prepare comprehensive reports on communication efforts, highlighting successes and areas for growth.
Onboarding and Support:
- Welcome new members to the community and provide orientation on available resources and opportunities.
- Offer ongoing support to members, addressing inquiries and assisting with the navigation of the platform.
Ideation and Collaboration:
- Contribute creative ideas for content, campaigns, and initiatives to enhance the organization's impact.
- Collaborate with team members across departments to execute integrated communication strategies.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in communication and women's empowerment.
