Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research
- Manage pricing strategies
- Applicants must have previous experience selling rice
- Lead and manage the end-to-end sales process for rice and other commodities.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet revenue and market share targets.
- Identify, onboard, and manage distributors, wholesalers, and key channel partners.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with buyers, traders, and other stakeholders.
- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and emerging trends.
- Monitor competitors and recommend strategies to stay ahead in the market.
- Manage pricing strategies and negotiate contracts to maximize profitability.
- Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts to management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Agriculture, or a related field (MBA is an added advantage).
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in commodity sales, with at least 2 years selling rice.
- Strong network of distributors, wholesalers, and buyers in the rice market.
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and market insight.
- Ability to work independently and lead a sales team.
