Venus Finance is looking for a highly organized Collateral Management Officer to oversee the documentation, verification, monitoring, and safekeeping of collateral assets supporting our loan portfolio. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with internal policies while minimizing credit risk through effective collateral management.

Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Verify, document, and maintain records of collateral provided for loan facilities.
- Monitor the status and validity of collateral throughout the loan lifecycle.
- Liaise with valuers, legal professionals, and relevant stakeholders when required.
- Ensure proper custody and documentation of all security instruments.
- Maintain accurate collateral records and databases.
- Support the credit team in collateral-related assessments and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies regarding secured lending.
- Assist with collateral release processes upon loan settlement
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Banking, Law, Estate Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in collateral management, credit administration, or secured lending within a microfinance bank or lending institution.
- Good understanding of asset valuation principles.
- Strong organizational and record management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
