Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Drive staff or clients safely to and from pick-up points and designated destinations.
- Follow national and state road safety laws and practice defensive driving.
- Conduct daily checks on oil, water, tires, and brakes before starting any trip.
- Spot mechanical issues early and report needed repairs to management.
- Ensure the interior and exterior of the bus remain tidy
- Help passengers with boarding, luggage, or seating when required
Requirements:
- Minimum of SSCE or basic literacy to read road signs and complete logbooks
- Possess a valid Nigerian Driver’s License (and a Lagos State LASDRI card if working in Lagos)
- Minimum of 2 years of professional driving experience, specifically with large commercial buses like Toyota Coasters
- Demonstrate strong familiarity with major regional roads, local traffic patterns, and navigation tools
- Know how to operate both manual and automatic transmission large vehicles
- Pass a physical fitness and medical test suited for commercial drivers.
