Shape the next generation of cloud professionals! We’re seeking a Cloud Engineering Tutor to deliver engaging lessons, mentor students, and teach core concepts in AWS/Azure/GCP and help learners develop industry-ready cloud engineering skills.
Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Curriculum Delivery: Facilitate engaging, interactive lectures and live coding/configuration sessions on cloud computing concepts and architectures.
- Hands-on Mentorship: Guide students through practical, real-world cloud labs, projects, and troubleshooting scenarios.
- Student Assessment: Evaluate student assignments, code repositories, and capstone projects, providing constructive, timely feedback.
- Curriculum Maintenance: Collaborate with the content team to keep learning modules updated with the latest cloud trends, platform features, and best practices.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of active, hands-on experience working as a Cloud Engineer, DevOps Engineer, Solutions Architect, or in a closely related engineering role.
- Prior experience in training, teaching, or mentoring junior developers, interns, or students (bootcamp experience is a major plus).
- Deep proficiency in at least one major cloud provider—AWS (preferred), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Solid understanding of tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Hands-on experience with Git/GitHub, Docker, Kubernetes, and setting up CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
- Strong command of the Linux command line and scripting languages (Python, Bash, or Shell scripting).
- Solid foundation in cloud networking (VPCs, subnets, load balancers) and cloud security best practices (IAM, access management).

- Patience & Empathy: A strong desire to support beginners and career-switchers who may find technical concepts overwhelming at first.
- Adaptability: Ability to adjust teaching speeds and styles based on the learning pace of the cohort.
- Problem-Solving: Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills to assist students when their cloud environments break.
