Job summary
The Salon Closure Maker is responsible for completing final beauty services for clients and ensuring the salon is properly closed at the end of each business day. This role combines finishing treatments such as styling and touch-ups with end-of-day operations, including cash handling and cleaning.
Job descriptions & requirements
- Perform finishing services such as final styling, touch-ups, and quality checks on clients’ hair or beauty treatments.
- Ensure all customers are properly checked out and services are fully billed.
- Reconcile daily cash and POS transactions and prepare end-of-day sales reports.
- Supervise cleaning and sanitization of tools, stations, and salon areas.
- Ensure all electrical equipment and appliances are safely turned off.
- Secure doors, windows, cash, and valuable items before closing.
- Report any operational issues, shortages, or damages to management.
- Prepare tools, supplies, and workstations for the next business day.
- Secondary school certificate or equivalent; salon or beauty certification is an advantage.
- Experience in hair finishing, beauty services, or salon operations.
- Basic cash handling and record-keeping skills.
- Strong attention to detail and customer service skills.
- Trustworthy, reliable, and able to work late hours.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
