Client Manager

Responsibilities:

• Develop and drive a business development strategy.
• Build relationships that enable business growth and expansion.
• Prepare bids, tenders, and respond to requests for proposals.
• Acquire new customers and grow the volume of business with existing customers to meet annual targets.
• Manage clients to build mutually beneficial relationships.
• Promptly resolve client issues.
• Develop new processes to drive deliverables, review and recommend modifications to existing processes and systems where required.
• Maintain close working relationships with the Customer Service, Field Support & Operations, and Client Management teams..
• Communicate with Managers and/or Directors on work status and client issues that arise.
• Provide prompt reporting on business development activities as required.

Requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree from a higher institution. An MBA is an added advantage.
• Business professional with a minimum of 5 years’ work experience in a similar role.
• Excellent relationship manager with organisational and leadership skills.
• Confidence in undertaking presentations to a large number of people.
• Analytical skills to review both financial and operational data, with a good understanding of financial planning.
• Proven Negotiation Skills combined with the ability to close business wins.
• Customer-oriented & team player who can work under pressure where needed.
