Cleaner

Responsibilities:

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors.
• Dust and wipe furniture, fixtures, and surfaces.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and common areas.
• Empty trash bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
• Refill cleaning and hygiene supplies such as soap, tissue, and sanitizer.
• Clean windows, doors, and glass surfaces.
• Follow health and safety regulations when using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to management.
• Operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain cleaning tools and supplies in good condition.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

• A minimum secondary school education may be preferred.
• Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience is an advantage but not always required.
• Basic understanding of cleaning procedures and safety practices.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment.
• Ability to operate vacuum cleaners, floor polishers, and other cleaning tools.
• Understanding of workplace health and safety standards.
• Attention to detail.
• Time management and organizational skills.
• Reliability and punctuality.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical stamina and fitness for standing, lifting, bending, and repetitive tasks.
• Ability to follow instructions and procedures.
