A Cleaner is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation in assigned areas such as offices, schools, hospitals, hotels, residential buildings, and commercial facilities. The role involves cleaning surfaces, disposing of waste, replenishing supplies, and ensuring that environments are safe, tidy, and presentable.

Responsibilities:
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors.
- Dust and wipe furniture, fixtures, and surfaces.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and common areas.
- Empty trash bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
- Refill cleaning and hygiene supplies such as soap, tissue, and sanitizer.
- Clean windows, doors, and glass surfaces.
- Follow health and safety regulations when using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to management.
- Operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain cleaning tools and supplies in good condition.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements:
- A minimum secondary school education may be preferred.
- Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience is an advantage but not always required.
- Basic understanding of cleaning procedures and safety practices.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment.
- Ability to operate vacuum cleaners, floor polishers, and other cleaning tools.
- Understanding of workplace health and safety standards.
- Attention to detail.
- Time management and organizational skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
