Classroom Teacher (Nursery & Primary)

Role Description The Classroom Teacher (Nursery & Primary) will facilitate Montessori-inspired learning experiences that support the academic, social, and emotional development of children. Responsibilities include planning and delivering engaging lessons, preparing and maintaining a child-centered classroom environment, and using observation to guide individualized instruction. The teacher will communicate regularly with families and colleagues, document student progress, and participate in school meetings and professional development. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Igwuruta.
Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Education and understanding of child development, preferably with Montessori training or experience in learner-centered pedagogy.
• Proficiency in Lesson Planning and curriculum implementation tailored to nursery and primary learners.
• Demonstrated Teaching and Training skills, including classroom management and facilitation of hands-on learning activities.
• Clear and empathetic Communication skills for working with children, families, and staff.
• Relevant teaching certification and/or degree in Education or a related field.
• Experience working with nursery and primary age groups in a school setting.
• Ability to collaborate in a team, adapt to diverse learner needs, and maintain a safe, inclusive classroom.
• Commitment to continuous professional growth and alignment with Montessori and holistic education values.
