Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Develop and review structural designs, prepare drawings, and perform analysis from concept to completion.
Requirements:
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from a recognized institution (MSc in Structural Engineering or related field is an added advantage).
- Develop, analyze, and review structural designs for buildings, infrastructure, and other civil works using recognized design codes and standards (British, Eurocode, etc.).
- Proficiency in structural design software: PROKON, STAAD Pro, PROTA, TEKLA, CADS, AutoCAD, or Revit Structure with 3-4 years experience.
- Membership or registration with professional bodies such as COREN, NSE, or NIStructE is an advantage.
- Evaluate design loads, material specifications, and construction methods to ensure structural integrity and cost efficiency.
- Provide design support during construction to address site queries, modifications, or structural issues.
- Ensure all designs adhere to quality assurance, safety, and sustainability standards.
