Civil/ Structural Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Develop and review structural designs
• Prepare drawings
• Perform analysis from concept to completion. 

Requirements:

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from a recognized institution (MSc in Structural Engineering or related field is an added advantage).
• Develop, analyze, and review structural designs for buildings, infrastructure, and other civil works using recognized design codes and standards (British, Eurocode, etc.).
• Proficiency in structural design software: PROKON, STAAD Pro, PROTA, TEKLA, CADS, AutoCAD, or Revit Structure with 3-4 years of experience.
• Experience in the delivery of major infrastructure projects.
• Excellent knowledge of structural detailing and visualization software such as Auto CAD and or REVIT. 
• Autodesk Civil 3D knowledge and experience is an added advantage. 
• Membership or registration with professional bodies such as COREN, NSE, or NIStructE is an advantage.
• A Master's degree in Highway engineering will be an advantage
• Evaluate design loads, material specifications, and construction methods to ensure structural integrity and cost efficiency.
• Provide design support during construction to address site queries, modifications, or structural issues.
• Ensure all designs adhere to quality assurance, safety, and sustainability standards.
