Job summary
We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer (Building Construction) to support the construction of temporary project facilities in Lekki, Lagos. The successful candidate will supervise site activities, coordinate construction teams, ensure quality workmanship, and support project delivery. The role may subsequently support other civil works associated with the project.

Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily construction activities and site operations.
- Coordinate labourers, artisans, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor work progress and ensure construction activities meet quality standards.
- Prepare basic site reports and material estimates.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements on site.
- Inspect construction work to ensure adherence to project specifications and standards.
- Monitor the use of materials, equipment, and manpower on site.
- Report project progress, challenges, and resource needs to management.
- Support the timely completion of building and civil works projects.
- Maintain proper documentation of site activities and project records.
Requirements:
- Minimum of an HND in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 3+ years’ experience in building construction or civil works.
- Experience in residential, camp, warehouse, or industrial building projects.
- Supervise daily construction activities and site workforce.
- Coordinate labourers, artisans, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Monitor work progress and ensure quality standards are maintained.
- Ability to prepare basic site reports and material estimates.
- Knowledge of HSE requirements on construction sites.
- COREN registration will be an added advantage.
- Candidates residing in Ibeju-Lekki, Ajah, Sangotedo, Awoyaya, Lakowe, Epe, or nearby areas are preferred.
