Civil Engineer

Responsibilities:

Planning & Feasibility:

• Analyzing survey reports, maps, aerial photography, and geological/soil data to determine project feasibility.
• Computing load and material requirements and drafting initial budgets to estimate labor and material costs.

Design & Documentation:

• Using computer-aided design (CAD) software and 3D modeling tools to create detailed blueprints and structural designs.
• Ensuring all designs comply with local zoning laws, environmental standards, and federal regulations.
• Compiling technical reports, environmental impact statements, and bid proposals.

Execution & Management:

• Managing the construction process on-site, acting as the technical liaison between contractors, architects, and stakeholders.
• Conducting routine site inspections to monitor progress, testing materials (e.g., concrete and soil), and ensuring conformance with safety standards.

Requirements:

• Applicants must have strong hands-on experience in civil engineering and construction projects.
• Applicants must be highly skilled, competent, and confident in handling site operations and project execution.
• Applicants must have good knowledge of construction processes, structural work, and project supervision.
• Applicants must be able to work independently, solve problems efficiently, and deliver quality results.
• Applicants must be proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage projects effectively.
• Professional experience and competence are highly important for this role.

Remuneration: NGN 400,000 – 500,000
