Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position located in Ado Ekiti for a Civic/History Tutor. The tutor will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons in Civics and History, preparing educational materials, assessing student progress, and providing individual support to enhance student understanding. The tutor will actively participate in curriculum development, collaborate with fellow educators, and contribute to fostering an inclusive and dynamic learning environment.
Qualifications

• Strong knowledge and expertise in Civics, History, and related subject areas
• Experience in lesson planning, classroom management, and delivering educational content
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to foster critical thinking and engage students in discussions
• Cross-cultural awareness and sensitivity to diverse perspectives and backgrounds
• Bachelor's degree in History and international studies, BSc in political science, Civic Education, Education, or a related field (Master’s degree is an advantage)
• Previous teaching experience is highly desirable
• Commitment to fostering an enriching and inclusive learning environment
