Systems & Process Management
Develop, implement, and maintain systems for every area of church life, including:
- Marriage counselling requests
- Baby dedications
- Water baptisms
- Funerals and bereavement support
- Child dedications
- Membership registration
- New visitor follow-up
- Pastoral appointments
- Hall bookings
- Event planning
- Volunteer onboarding
- Department requests
- Safeguarding processes
- Prayer requests
- Welfare support
- Facility maintenance requests
Website Management
- Keep the church website up to date.
- Upload upcoming events.
- Update sermon information.
- Maintain ministry pages.
- Update leadership profiles.
- Ensure contact information is accurate.
- Upload forms and resources.
- Check for broken links and outdated content.
Church Administration
- Create online forms.
- Automate workflows where possible.
- Manage the church calendar.
- Maintain organisational documents.
- Produce SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).
- Ensure administrative consistency across departments.
Project Management
- Coordinate church initiatives.
- Track progress on ministry goals.
- Follow up with department heads.
- Ensure deadlines are met.
- Report operational updates to the Lead Pastor.
Communications
- Liaise with ministry leaders.
- Ensure important information is communicated clearly.
- Coordinate announcements and updates.
- Support leadership meetings with agendas and action tracking.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience
- A minimum of a degree in a related field
- Highly organised
- Process-driven
- Detail-oriented
- Proactive rather than reactive
- Technically confident (websites, forms, databases, automation)
- An excellent communicator
- Able to think strategically
- Trustworthy and discreet
