Site Coordinator/Chinese Translator

• Facilitate effective communication between Chinese and local teams through translation and interpretation in daily operations, meetings, and site activities
  
• Assist Chinese management in coordinating and supervising local employees to ensure compliance with project requirements and company policies
• Support communication and coordination with subcontractors, suppliers, government representatives, and other external stakeholders
• Translate project documents, reports, correspondence, contracts, and technical materials accurately and promptly
• Follow up on assigned tasks, monitor progress, and help resolve communication-related issues on site
• Assist in organizing meetings, preparing meeting minutes, and tracking action items
• Support administrative and project coordination tasks as assigned by management
• Ensure smooth and efficient information flow among project teams and stakeholders

Requirements:

• Minimum HSK Level 3 or equivalent Chinese proficiency
• Strong proficiency in listening, speaking, reading, and writing in both Chinese and English
• At least 3 years of experience in translation or interpretation, preferably in engineering, construction, power transmission, substation, EPC, or infrastructure projects
• Familiarity with power transmission, electrical engineering, or infrastructure-related terminology
• Experience in coordinating local workforce, subcontractors, or site operations will be an advantage
• Experience working on power transmission, substation, or EPC projects will be preferred
• Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and site-based environment
• Strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Willingness to be based on the project site when required
