Job summary
We are seeking an experienced Chinese Food Chef to join our culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing authentic Chinese dishes, maintaining high food quality standards, and ensuring kitchen operations run efficiently.
Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of Chinese cuisine dishes.
- Develop and maintain menu items in accordance with restaurant standards.
- Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation are consistent.
- Manage food inventory and minimise waste.
- Maintain cleanliness and comply with food safety regulations.
- Train and supervise kitchen assistants when necessary.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2–4 years of experience as a Chinese Food Chef.
- Strong knowledge of Chinese cooking techniques and ingredients.
- Ability to prepare dishes such as stir-fries, noodles, fried rice, soups, dim sum, and specialty Chinese meals.
- Good organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Culinary certification is an advantage.
Remuneration: NGN 200 - 300
