Children's Music and Content Lead

Responsibilities:

• Lead the creative, musical, and content direction for all children’s music and multimedia productions.
• Supervise songwriting, vocal arrangements, choreography coordination, and music video concepts.
• Oversee the development of educational and entertainment-based music content, ensuring alignment with age-appropriate themes, values, and cultural sensitivity.
• Manage and mentor teams of music producers, vocal coaches, video editors, and creative writers.
• Design and direct studio and live recordings, ensuring excellent sound quality and child-friendly engagement.
• Collaborate with directors, cinematographers, and animators to produce compelling music videos, short films, and online content.
• Curate and oversee creative scripts, storylines, and lesson-based songs for school and digital audiences.
• Ensure consistency in tone, rhythm, and storytelling across all platforms (YouTube, streaming, live shows, etc.).
• Develop content calendars and work closely with marketing to align releases with campaign goals.
• Maintain the highest creative and production standards while meeting deadlines and budget.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in music, Creative Arts, Theatre, Media Production, or related field (preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience.
• Proficient in music direction, performance production, or children’s media content creation.
• Proven track record in leading music or creative production teams (experience with kids’ choirs, musical theatre, or children’s programming preferred).
• Strong understanding of music education, child engagement, and storytelling through music.
• Excellent musical arrangement, composition, and vocal direction skills.
• Familiarity with digital media production workflows — recording, post-production, video, and content publishing.
• Experience in both educational and entertainment content development is highly desirable.
