Role Summary
Provides strategic and technical leadership for the trade platform, driving architecture, innovation, scalability, and cross-agency integration.
Key Responsibilities
•
Define and execute technology strategy for the trade platform
•
Design scalable, secure, and interoperable system architecture
•
Lead engineering, infrastructure, and DevOps teams
•
Drive API-first ecosystem for stakeholders
•
Ensure system supports high transaction volumes nationwide
•
Oversee vendor management and international tech partnerships
•
Align platform with global trade facilitation standards (WTO, WCO)
Requirements
•
15+ years in technology leadership
•
Experience in large-scale digital platforms or national systems
•
Strong background in distributed systems, cloud, and integrations
•
Exposure to emerging markets or similar government ecosystems (hence the expat preference)
