DivCex is an early stage company building at the intersection of African innovation, capital, and global ecosystems.
We’re looking for a technical co-builder to join our founding team and help build DivCex’s technology from the ground up.
This is not a traditional corporate CTO role. You’ll work directly with the Founder & CEO to turn the vision for DivCex into real products, systems, and infrastructure from defining the initial architecture and technology stack to building our MVP and laying the foundation for future scale.
What you’ll do:
Own DivCex’s technology vision and roadmap.
Design and build our initial products and technical infrastructure.
Make key decisions around architecture, tools, platforms, security, and scalability.
Translate business opportunities into practical technology solutions.
Eventually build and lead the engineering team as DivCex grows.
Help shape DivCex’s technical culture and long term product direction.
Who we’re looking for:
We’re looking for someone who wants to build, not just manage we want someone comfortable starting from zero, working with limited resources, and taking ideas from concept to working product.
Experience in fintech, Web3, marketplaces, APIs, or financial technology is valuable, but your ability to build, problem-solve, and think strategically matters most.
The opportunity
DivCex is still in its early stage, and we are not currently in a position to offer a salary or fixed compensation for this role.
Instead, we’re looking for someone who believes in the vision and wants to become part of the journey from the beginning. Equity participation will be offered as part of the founding team opportunity, with the structure and terms discussed with shortlisted candidates.
You won’t be joining an established company to maintain what already exists.
You’ll be helping build what comes next.
